Europe is not a waiting room. ‼️ And those who have no right to be here must leave. We can no longer tolerate a system where four out of five illegal migrants stay. That’s why we approved stricter and clearer rules today in the EP. What’s changing? ✔️ The rule is simple: if you don’t have the right to stay, you return. ✔️ Return hubs outside the EU: no more endless limbo, but real departures. ✔️ End of obstruction: appeals will no longer automatically halt returns. ✔️ Duty to cooperate: those who refuse will face consequences. ✔️ Possibility of detention for up to 24 months – longer in case of security threats. ✔️ More pressure on countries of origin to take their citizens back. The bottom line is: Europe must be fair to those who follow the rules, but firm with those who break them. That’s how we keep Europe safe. ✅Kopírovat text
