We must treat this as a matter of European security. That means stronger protection of the EU’s external borders, full solidarity with Poland and the Baltic states, and tougher sanctions against those responsible in Minsk. At the same time, we need effective return policies and a clear signal that illegal crossings will not be tolerated. Europe must remain firm.
