🇺🇦 This may be Ukraine’s most successful week since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. ‼️ More than 8,000 Russian soldiers were reportedly put out of action in just one week, highlighting the extraordinary intensity of the war in Ukraine. An analysis of daily reports published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the period May 30 – June 5 indicates that approximately 8,390 Russian military personnel were eliminated or otherwise rendered combat ineffective during those seven days. That represents an average of more than 1,400 troops per day. During the same period, Ukraine also reported the destruction or neutralization of: ▪️ 11,339 UAVs (drones) ▪️ 385 artillery systems ▪️ 2,587 vehicles and fuel tankers ▪️ 40 cruise missiles ▪️ 76 unmanned ground vehicles These figures suggest that the current phase of the conflict is no longer primarily about gaining or defending territory. Instead, it is increasingly becoming a war of attrition, where the ability to replenish personnel, equipment, ammunition, and logistics determines long-term success. Particularly notable is the continued rise in losses of drones and logistical assets. Logistics networks and unmanned systems have become some of the most critical battlegrounds of modern warfare. It should be noted that these figures are based on official reports from the Ukrainian Armed Forces and cannot be independently verified in their entirety. Nevertheless, the long-term trend indicates that the intensity of the fighting remains exceptionally high, even more than four years after the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. #Ukraine #UkraineWar #Russia #Security #Defence #EuropeanSecurity #MilitaryAnalysis #Geopolitics #Drones #Logistics #EUDefense #StandWithUkraine
