⚠️📄 I have sent a question to the Czech Prime Minister, Andrej Babiš, regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case.
I am asking whether the government is examining possible links to Czechia, whether it has any information about Epstein potentially staying here, and whether the security services will open an official inquiry into the possible operation of the network and potential victims in the Czech Republic. I also want to know whether the Czech government is considering cooperation with its allies and how it will ensure the protection of any potential victims.
Given the international dimension, it is important to see how other countries in Central Europe are proceeding as well. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced an official review of the documents to verify possible links to Poland, identify any potential victims, and assess a possible security dimension, including the misuse of the network to obtain compromising information for Russia’s benefit. In Slovakia, the release of the materials has had concrete political consequences, in light of the recent resignation of National Security Advisor Miroslav Lajčák.
If there are relevant leads pointing to the Czech Republic, the Czech government must act proactively and consistently so that no well-founded suspicion remains unexamined.
