At the #CelacEUSummi2025, I met with my Venezuelan counterpart Yván Gil. I raised the case of our citizen who is being unlawfully detained in Venezuela without any charges. Venezuela is thereby violating the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. I urged it to respect its international obligations and provide Czechia with full consular cooperation.
