After burning a few tokens in both models, I have to say that Opus 4.5 is unbeatable in CC; the systems are well tuned. And since 2.1.7, even compaction causes minor problems compared to the overall tuning. Codex still can't compete with this tandem, except for certain tasks. But of course, if Opus 5 had a million-word context, it would be more cheerful.
