Together with my colleague @ArbaKokalari, we, as shadow rapporteurs for the EPP, have called on the European Commission to withdraw the proposed directive on environmental claims. The proposed version is overly complex, costly, and lacks the necessary impact assessments to demonstrate its effectiveness.
