With Mauritania, the focus is on local development alongside stability and security. We invest in clean energy and digital infrastructure, while strengthening institutions. Over the past year, a new modern digital centre was opened in Nouakchott. During my mission, I also handed over EU-supported security equipment. For Europe, this matters directly.
