Mopani could soon become a supplier for the Kobaloni Energy Project, Africa’s first refinery for battery-grade cobalt sulphate, designated as a EU CRM Strategic Project.
Once operational, it will produce 6000 tonnes of cobalt sulphate per year, enough for one million electric vehicles.
