Today I joined President António Costa and Pacific leaders to discuss how we take our Global Gateway partnership to the next level. A key topic was my recent mission to the Pacific, which brought the first-ever EU–Pacific Business Forum and the largest EU investment package for the region - nearly €300 million. Projects in clean energy, digital links, ports, and microfinance will create jobs, strengthen resilience, and open new opportunities. We discussed the necessity to take next steps that ensure this package delivers real progress for both sides. I also underlined a critical issue: Russia’s shadow fleet, that helps fund Moscow’s criminal war against Ukraine. Together, we must take concrete steps to stop it.Kopírovat text
