🇳🇦 Africa’s first green steel plant in Namibia
The HyIron Plant in Namibia is Southern Africa’s first green hydrogen production site and Africa’s first zero-emissions iron facility, producing green iron with renewable hydrogen. It will cut 1.8 million tonnes of CO₂ and create thousands of jobs, making it a historic achievement and a true Global Gateway green industrial success.
