In Sevilla, important was focus in particular on mobilising private capital to scale up our development impact. Because turning limited public budgets into broader, lasting change is necessary. With TCX, we signed a €150 million EU guarantee to expand currency risk protection in frontier markets, a major step that will unlock projects which would otherwise be too risky to take off. With COFIDES, we signed a €75 million guarantee to support off-grid renewable energy in underserved regions of Africa and Latin America. These investments bring electricity, jobs, and productivity to some of the most remote rural communities.Kopírovat text
