Today, I have the chance to visit the site of the Europe-supported ESO Extremely Large Telescope located under the clearest skies on Earth in the Atacama Desert. It is a great example of cooperation between Europe and Chile in high-tech industry. Once completed, the telescope will be the largest optical telescope in the world. I am proud to see that European companies are participating in the construction of the telescope, while European scientists will benefit from its capabilities.Kopírovat text
