It was a great pleasure for me to personally congratulate President Sadyr Japarov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on reaching the historic border agreement with Tajikistan. I believe this achievement will improve the lives of people on both sides of the border and beyond. We also discussed opportunities to further develop our cooperation under the Global Gateway Strategy — focusing in particular on the modernization of Kyrgyzstan’s energy sector, including major hydropower projects like Kambarata-1. In addition, we signed a €15 million EU agreement to support agriculture and water management in Kyrgyzstan.Kopírovat text
